Chief Operating Officer

We are looking to appoint a strong, influential and commercially astute Chief Operating Officer to join our passionate and hardworking team at Ethos Academy Trust.

As Chief Operating Officer, you will shape the future of our schools and ensure our systems, resources, and infrastructure enable every pupil to receive the best educational experience.

You will develop a clear operational strategy aligned with the Trust Board’s objectives, ensuring that all operation functions, including IT, People/HR, Estates, Finance and Governance, are high performing, efficient and fully compliant. Leading a team of professionals, you will provide leadership in estate management, compliance and health and safety, ensuring our schools operate safely and effectively.

With a strong focus on financial sustainability, governance and compliance, you will work closely with the CEO, Trust Board and wider stakeholders to manage risk, oversee strategic projects and build external relationships that improve our schools’ operational capacity. You will also ensure robust business planning, enabling the Trust to effectively manage its resources and meet its strategic priorities.
